The taste is almost magical, Hummus is very delicious and I recommend everyone to try it if they got the chance.
The word Hummus is the exact Arabic translation of Chickpeas. The hummus plate that gets served on the tables basically contains Chickpeas, some lemon juice basically and the Lebanese Tahini Sauce.

It's easy to make Hummus at home, I will be showing some pictures and I will give you the recipe so you can make Hummus at home.

How to make Hummus?
It's easy to make Hummus at home, I will be showing some pictures and I will give you the recipe so you can make Hummus at home.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chickpeas ( dried )
- 8 crushed garlic gloves
- 16 tablespoons Tahini paste
- One and a half cup of fresh lemon juice.
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 Tbsp of salt
Preparation:
- Rinse the Chickpeas then soak for 10 hours in water preferebly with a teaspoon of baking soda to make them soft.
- When done, Filter the Chickpeas then rinse them in cold water .
- Add the chickpeas to the boiling pot with water
- Let them boil on high heat, then lower the heat and leave them for 1 hour to finish the process.
- To test when it's done, crush 1 Chickpea with your hand, if it crushes fast then the process is finished.
- Once done, Add the Chickpeas to a food processor while still hot with a cup of warm water and let it turn for 3 to 5 minutes
- Add salt and garlic to the mix and as the process continues, add the Tahini sauce to the mix in the food processor.
- Slowly add the lemon juice then let the food processor work for 3 more minutes
- Taste and Enjoy :)
